I specialise in the design of genuine sea glass and semi-precious-stone jewellery. My aim is to make beautiful jewellery, inspired by and in harmony with the natural world.
All sea glass used in my jewellery is collected by hand along British beaches. I select only the best quality for use in my designs. Just like you, each precious gem of sea glass is different. Each piece's journey from jagged glass shard to glowing sea-stone is unique.
All of my jewellery is made by hand from my home-based studio in the UK, ensuring a high standard of quality and care. For me, nature is precious - that is why I choose to use recycled and ethically produced materials as far as possible.
From my responsibly-sourced silver and non-toxic polishing compounds, through to my seed paper jewellery cards and recycled packaging - you can be sure that every piece of Wild Soul jewellery is beautiful yet sustainable.
Hi, I'm Emily
My love of sea glass was born from long, wind-buffeted walks along Dorset's Jurassic coastline, where I lived for six months several years ago. My hobby continued as I later split my life between France and the UK, and I have since collected sea glass from many beaches in the UK, Spain and France.
Seeking a creative outlet, I began forming jewellery from these beautiful little sea stones. I was inspired by their rugged beauty, and a little awed by how the sheer power of the ocean had worn something manmade and discarded into something new and beautiful.
My aim when I started Wild Soul was to create beautiful high quality jewellery which combined my passions and aligned with my values. For me, nature is precious - that is why I choose to use recycled and ethically produced materials as far as possible, from my responsibly-sourced silver to my recycled packaging.
I love the thought of wearing a piece of the ocean wherever I go; for me, it feels like the embodiment of something wild and untamed and free. Every time I look at a piece I have created, I am reminded of the wonderful feeling you get when watching the ocean, or admiring a beautiful panorama from a snowy mountaintop - the wonder of the natural world.
The feeling that we all have a wild soul inside of us; that we are alive, and free - that is the spirit I hope to capture in my jewellery.
